Exhibition curated by Raffaella Poletti and Maria Rosaria Moccia.

The spark that lit the light on this path struck in 2009, thanks to Milena Matteini.
The curators are grateful to Luisa Finocchi who with foresight indicated a path when the archive was not yet a reality. They thank Angela De Carlo Mioni and the Jacqueline Vodoz Bruno Danese Foundation in the person of Manuela Cirino for their generous and fundamental collaboration. They also thank the Laboratorio Formentini per l’editoria for having allowed access to the recordings of the interventions on the occasion of the public presentation of the Marta Lonzi Archive.

Without the heartfelt testimonies of Maria Bottero, Paolo Berdini, Raffaele Mazzanti, Heide Moldenauer and Mara Pinardi it would have been difficult to correctly place the documents in the historical events. In this regard, a grateful thought goes to Marco Romanelli, whose early loss still weighs heavily.

We also thank: Luca Bigazzi, Cinzio Ianiro, Alberto Mioni, Anita Poltronieri.

This digital exhibition takes its cue from the physical exhibition of materials presented in Milan at the Laboratorio Formentini per l’Editoria on 21 October 2019 during the presentation of the Marta Lonzi Archive. The exhibition seeks to recreate the figure of Marta Lonzi in a layout built out of the rich documentation present in the Fondazione Badaracco, while including documents and links to archives and external sites: in particular, the Archivio Scritti di Rivolta Femminile (ASRF) and the photographic archive of the Fondazione Jacqueline Vodoz Bruno Danese (JVBD).

Where known, the images bear the Author’s informations.

Copyright in the exhibited materials, unless otherwise indicated, belongs to the Fondazione Elvira Badaracco, Milan.

The exhibition has been organised in collaboration with the Fondazione Jacqueline Vodoz Bruno Danese, Milan.
