La stagione appena trascorsa ha sottolineato l'urgenza di mantenere viva la relazione con il pubblico superando il modello esclusivo di fruizione di beni e servizi in luoghi fisici. In parallelo, le politiche culturali a livello europeo vertono sulla digitalizzazione del patrimonio archivistico, ponendo ineludibili quesiti sulle scelte culturali sottese a questa decisione.
Tuttavia, la digitalizzazione di per sé rimane muta se non accompagnata da adeguati strumenti narrativi: impone anzi la sperimentazione di nuovi formati, con il fine, da un lato, di migliorare la divulgazione e l'accessibilità del patrimonio archivistico e documentario della Fondazione, e dall'altro, di raggiungere fruitori inediti e pubblici più ampi.
Da qui la decisione di creare, sul sito di Fondazione Badaracco, una sezione dedicata alla valorizzazione dei contenuti degli archivi e più in generale dei temi affrontati dalla Fondazione, attraverso mostre digitali.
Le mostre sono progettate in una ottica ampia, prevedendo l'utilizzo di fonti /collegamenti presenti in altre istituzioni, in una visione integrata e collaborativa della ricerca.
L'archivio si manifesta così come luogo generativo di nuove conoscenze. The past season has underlined the urgency of keeping the relationship with the public alive by overcoming the exclusive model of enjoying goods and services in physical places. In parallel, cultural policies at the European level focus on the digitization of archival heritage, raising unavoidable questions about the cultural choices underlying this decision.
However, digitization itself remains mute if not accompanied by adequate narrative tools: it actually requires the experimentation of new formats, with the aim, on the one hand, to improve the dissemination and accessibility of the archival and documentary heritage of the Foundation, and on the other hand, to reach new users and wider audiences.
Hence the decision to create, on the Fondazione Badaracco website, a section dedicated to enhancing the content of archives and more generally to the themes addressed by the Foundation, through digital exhibitions.
The exhibitions are designed in a broad perspective, providing for the use of sources / links present in other institutions, in an integrated and collaborative vision of research.
The archive thus manifests itself as a generative place of new knowledge.
